This German Army Service Watch is an accurate reproduction of the standard 1938 field timepiece.
Historical Field Design
During the Second World War, German ground forces relied on issue timepieces known as the Dienstuhr Heer. Issued to officers and specialist personnel, these watches had to be legible and dependable in the field. This model replicates the 1938 pattern layout, complete with an auxiliary seconds subdial and classic military dial typography.
Clear Dial Markings
The 30mm black dial is built for rapid visual reading in low light. It features bold luminous Arabic numerals paired with illuminated hour and minute hands. A dedicated track marks the outer minutes, while the 6 o'clock register tracks running seconds for precise field coordination.
Robust Case & Modern Movement
Constructed with a polished stainless steel case, the screw-down style caseback includes stamped Wasserdicht Stahlboden markings and typical military D-H numbering. Inside, a dependable quartz movement delivers zero-maintenance timekeeping. The fitted pebbled black strap secures with a silver buckle and uses spring bars for easy swaps.

Exchanges (UK Only)
We offer a "Shared Cost" exchange service within the UK. You cover the cost of returning the item to us, and we will pay the shipping cost to send the new exchange item back out to you.
