First formulated in Berlin in 1935, this legendary caffeinated dark chocolate became a standard issue ration for the German military during the Second World War. It was famously issued to Luftwaffe flight crews as "Aviator's Chocolate" (Fliegerschokolade) to sustain alertness during long night missions. It also supplied tank crews and infantry with a rapid, reliable source of field vigour.

Made with a bittersweet recipe containing a minimum of 58% cocoa, this dark chocolate contains 2.6% roast coffee and 1.6% kola nut powder. Please note it may contain traces of nuts, peanuts, gluten, and soya, and contains milk.
