KEY FEATURES
Scho-Ka-Kola German Caffeine Chocolate is the original dark chocolate. It provides a fast boost of energy.
Wartime Energy
First formulated in Berlin in 1935, this legendary caffeinated dark chocolate became a standard issue ration for the German military during the Second World War. It was famously issued to Luftwaffe flight crews as "Aviator's Chocolate" (Fliegerschokolade) to sustain alertness during long night missions. It also supplied tank crews and infantry with a rapid, reliable source of field vigour.
Nutritional Value & Ingredients
Made with a bittersweet recipe containing a minimum of 58% cocoa, this dark chocolate contains 2.6% roast coffee and 1.6% kola nut powder. It delivers 545 kcal of dense, ready-to-eat energy per 100g tin. Each container holds 16 wedges, providing a total of 200mg of caffeine. Please note it may contain traces of nuts, peanuts, gluten, and soya, and contains milk.
Utility in the Field
Perfect for outdoor survivalists, bushcrafters, and historical reenactors, this chocolate provides an immediate pick-me-up with no preparation required. The chocolate is safely housed in the iconic, pocket-sized red-and-white sunburst metal tin. This durable packaging protects the contents from crushing during transit and opens easily with a simple press on the lid.
