This genuine British Desert Combat Shirt is an original military surplus field overshirt in two-colour desert camouflage.

Operational History & Camouflage Design

Originally issued to the British Army in the 1990s as part of the CS95 (Combat Soldier 95) system, it replaced older heavy temperate gear. The British military switched to this two-colour desert DPM because allied Gulf states had adopted the older four-colour pattern, risking friendly fire.

Tactical Specifications & Fabric

Constructed from a lightweight polycotton tropical weave, this shirt balances high breathability with rugged durability. It features classic Canadian-style slotted buttons sewed with heavy fabric tape, meaning they will not rip off when caught on brush or gear.
