It replaces heavier canvas predecessors with a durable ripstop nylon fabric that resists wear, making it a reliable choice for campers, bushcrafters, and military collectors.
Weatherproof and Well-Ventilated
The single-skin roof features polyurethane-coated nylon to repel wind and rain, while the base is protected by a thick rubberised groundsheet that prevents ground moisture from seeping inside. Airflow is optimised through lower side mesh vents with Velcro flaps and triangular end ventilation panels, which help prevent condensation and keep biting insects out.
Lightweight and Rapid Setup
Weighing only 3.2kg and packing down to 55cm by 27cm, this compact tent is highly portable. It is supplied with two collapsible aluminium poles, guy ropes, and ground pegs, allowing for quick assembly in minutes. The double-ended zippered entry provides easy access and can be rolled back and secured to maximise fresh air circulation in warm weather.

This item was issued to the French Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and remains in Supergrade condition. It is unissued original surplus, but may have minor dust or storage marks from warehouse storage. We recommend giving it a wash or airing it out before wearing.
