This is an original Austrian Army Mess Tin Set, designed for outdoor military field cooking.

Classic Military Design

This three-piece Essgeschirr is based on the classic German M31 kidney-shaped design, adopted by the Austrian Bundesheer. Its curved, kidney-shaped profile is engineered to nest snugly against a rucksack or combat pack, reducing movement during active travel. The set includes a deep boiling pot, a nesting middle tray, and a lid that doubles as a frying pan or bowl.

Rugged Aluminium Build

Made from painted aluminium, this mess kit provides excellent heat distribution while keeping the carry weight low. The main boiling pot features a sturdy steel wire bale handle, allowing you to hang it securely over an open campfire. The lid has a folding steel handle that folds down to lock all three nested components tightly together during transport.

Genuine Army Surplus

These are Grade 2 surplus items accepted by the Austrian military agency, stamped with HBA06 MM or similar. Each set shows authentic field wear, including dents, scratches, and paint loss.
