This original US 9th Army patch is a genuine military surplus shoulder sleeve insignia.
European Theatre Lineage
Activated in 1944, the Ninth Army commanded Allied forces across France and Germany during World War Two. The unit spearheaded the advance across the Elbe River before its initial deactivation in 1945. Later reactivated in 2012 to support United States Army Africa operations, this original military surplus patch represents an impressive history of service in Western Europe.
