Full Description
The British ATP Service Watch is an accurate reproduction of the standard WW2 British Army timepiece.
Wartime Service History
Introduced in 1939, the Army Trade Pattern (A.T.P.) watch was the primary general-service wristwatch issued to British soldiers throughout the Second World War. Contracted across Swiss manufacturers before the later W.W.W. Dirty Dozen series, roughly 130,000 were supplied for army field use, providing vital synchronisation for infantry and artillery units across every major theatre.
Dial and Case Markings
This reproduction features the distinctive matte silver-white dial, complete with dark Arabic numerals, a railroad minute track, and vintage-toned hands. It includes the classic 6 o’clock sub-seconds register and period-style War Office serial markings on both the dial face and the polished screw-down steel case back, matching the utilitarian look of original issue pieces.
Modern Movement and Fit
Under the hood, a dependable dual quartz movement provides hassle-free battery-powered operation with a functional hacking crown for precise time-setting. The watch is rated to 3 ATM water resistance for protection against rain and splashes in the field, secured to your wrist with an adjustable green military webbing strap and housed in an Ailager presentation box.
Complete your British Army impression or field gear display with this classic wartime timepiece.
