This original WW2 British Pattern 1903 Lee Enfield 5 pocket bandolier is a genuine piece of military history.
Pattern 1903 Combat Heritage
This Mk II Pattern 1903 leather bandolier was originally designed after the Boer War to replace bulky pouches. Though replaced for frontline infantry by canvas webbing, South Africa continued making this leather version throughout WWII due to local supply chains. These wartime pieces were issued to second-line troops, airfield guards, and mounted units across the Commonwealth.
Ammunition Storage and Fit
The bandolier features five pocket compartments, each built to hold ten rounds of .303 ammunition in two five-round charger clips. Made from dark brown leather, the main strap is cut on a natural curve to fit comfortably over the left shoulder. Sturdy brass stud fasteners keep the pocket flaps secure, while a brass-buckled steadying strap attaches to your waist belt.
Grade 2 Military Surplus
