This is a genuine Soviet GP-5 Gas Mask in grey, supplied with its original canvas bag. Please note: filters are not included with this item.

Cold War Civilian Issue

Originally designed in 1962 and produced until 1990, the GP-5 or Гражда́нский Противога́з-5 was issued to protect Soviet citizens against Cold War NBC threats. Today, it stands as a legendary collectible. This is the ultimate addition for historical reenactors and military collectors wanting genuine Soviet civil defence gear.

Helmet-Style Rubber Facepiece

The classic ShM-62 rubber facepiece uses a full-head pull-on design for a secure seal without fiddly straps. Its secure metal bezels house flat, round glass eyepieces for clear visibility, while the base has a 40mm GOST threaded inlet. These are sold as non-functional collectors' items, and should not be used for actual respiratory protection.

Original Canvas Utility Bag

Each mask is supplied in Supergrade unissued condition, featuring a slight white protective powder that easily wipes clean. You also get the original olive green canvas carrying bag, complete with a shoulder strap and utility pockets. It makes a remarkably durable vintage pouch for camping, bushcraft, or unique daily wear.

Refusal Policy

Exchanges (UK Only)
We offer a "Shared Cost" exchange service within the UK. You cover the cost of returning the item to us, and we will pay the shipping cost to send the new exchange item back out to you.

International Orders
We are currently unable to offer an exchange service for orders outside of the UK. International customers should return their unwanted items for a refund and place a new order for the alternative size/item.
