The original US III Corps patch is a genuine military surplus shoulder sleeve insignia.
Unit History and Symbolism
First organized in France in May 1918, the US III Corps served in World War I, World War II, and later conflicts. The badge features a blue caltrop with a white centre triangle. Based on the ancient anti-cavalry device, the three points mark the corps' numerical designation, while the blue and white background reflects official US Army corps flag colours.

Measuring 7.5cm at the widest point and 5.5cm at the highest, this cloth badge is built to standard military dimensions. The front has full thread embroidery on a sturdy backing fabric, encircled by an overlocked black border.
