This original US Army 7th Infantry Division patch features the classic black hourglass unit insignia design.
Historical Unit Insignia
First adopted in October 1918, this shoulder sleeve insignia represents the US Army 7th Infantry Division, nicknamed the "Hourglass Division". Formed by two inverted figure sevens, the central symbol gained fame during heavy Pacific combat in WWII across the Aleutian Islands, Leyte, and Okinawa. This original surplus patch connects directly to a century of active military service.
