These compact, rugged lamps were issued to the Swiss Army during the Cold War. Housed in a robust olive-drab metal casing, they are designed for dependable field use. Type 1 lamps feature prominent red and green circular filters, allowing for versatile signalling. Type 2 lamps include a unique dimming filter, ideal for low-signature communication or preserving night vision, alongside red, black, and green square filter inserts. Both types offer momentary and constant-on light modes and were designed for simple filament bulb replacement, making them practical and repairable even today, offering a tangible link to military communication history.

Genuine Swiss Army signalling lamp torches, available in surplus 'Like-New' condition. Choose Type 1 (red/green filters) or Type 2 (dimming filter). Batteries not included.
