This is an original Russian Army AK74 pouch issued for carrying standard military rifle ammunition.
Military Origin and Storage
Designed in the 1970s alongside the 5.45x39mm rifle system, this military surplus pouch carried four 30-round magazines into combat. Each main compartment features individual dividers to keep mags upright and separate during movement. The inner flap often bears original Soviet ink acceptance stamps, making it a functional piece of Cold War military history.
Canvas Construction and Hardware
Built from heavy-duty brezent cotton canvas, the material resists heavy abrasion and field wear. Dark brown genuine leather straps fasten over solid brass stud posts to keep gear secure. Additional outer pockets store essential maintenance gear, including an oiler bottle, cleaning kit, or stripper clips for rapid loading.
