Add an authentic touch to your uniform with these original British Army Sergeant rank chevrons.
These V-shaped chevrons are made from a textured, rough brown wool, using materials typical of their service period. Each chevron is detailed with white cotton embroidery, featuring a herringbone pattern along the edges and parallel lines within the V-shape. This insignia was worn by Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) from 1920 to 1953, signifying the important role of a Sergeant who acted as a link between officers and junior ranks. The **white cotton embroidery** and **rough brown wool background** offer a distinct and recognisable rank marking.
These chevrons are ideal for completing a World War 1 or World War 2 British re-enactment kit, or for creating historically accurate displays. They are sold as a pair and are ready to be sewn onto battledress tunics.
