The Eaglemoss British 1950s Army Watch (Issue 54) (Alternate Face) combines utility with vintage style. This clean timepiece is an accurate reproduction of standard-issue watches used by British soldiers during the early Cold War. Cold War History
This watch is inspired by the rugged timepieces issued by the British Ministry of Defence in the 1950s. While some models used subdials, this version features an alternate watch face without a subdial. This design matches the central sweep-second hands used on many military field watches of the era.
Technical Specifications
The watch has a 30mm face, a fluted bezel, and an adjustable black leatherette strap with an 18mm width. It features a metal alloy case, a reliable Japanese Quartz movement, and luminous hands and markers for clear reading in low-light conditions. It comes in a protective gift box.
Collector Notes and Care
This watch is surplus stock from the early 2000s. Due to storage, the battery may need replacing, so we include a free replacement battery. The hands may move freely in transit; this stops once the battery is active and the crown is pushed in. The purchase is covered by our standard store warranty.
