This is the genuine Dutch Army Beanie Hat, originally issued to the Royal Netherlands Army (Koninklijke Landmacht) for cold-weather deployments. Known officially as the KL commando muts, this model was updated in mid-2022 to feature a longer profile. Offered in rugged Grade 1 used condition, each piece displays minimal signs of service with no tears or holes.

Thermal Construction

We love how the fabric blend performs in the field. It features a heavy, tight-ribbed knit with 70% wool, 20% acrylic, and 10% polyamide. The natural wool fibres trap air to keep you warm even when wet, while the synthetic fibres prevent the fabric from stretching out of shape. It's highly durable and naturally resists odours during extended bushcraft trips.

Field Utility

The highly elastic ribbed weave easily stretches to fit adult head sizes up to 60cm. Thanks to its generous length, you can roll the brim once for standard cover, or double-roll it for a classic, double-layered fisherman look. Refusal Policy
