The Bundeswehr canvas rucksack is a classic West German military daypack designed for carrying load gear.
Classic West German Design
Based on the iconic West German Gebirgsjäger mountain pack, this daypack combines a 100% cotton canvas main body with original military surplus shoulder straps. Built around a 25-litre main compartment, the classic top-loading design offers reliable load carrying for field use, bushcraft, and outdoor trekking.
Practical Storage & Layout
The main compartment features a drawstring neck with storm flap to keep contents secure. Inside, an internal back sleeve accommodates a standard folded sit mat to add structure while protecting your back. Three external pockets with metal friction buckles provide quick access to water bottles, tools, and small essentials.
Field Construction & Utility
To protect against wet terrain, the rucksack is fitted with a vinyl water-resistant base that prevents moisture from soaking into your gear. Integrated webbing loops and D-rings on the lid allow extra kit such as a roll mat or bivvy bag to be lashed externally, making it ideal for overnight bushcraft trips.

Refusal Policy

Exchanges (UK Only)
We offer a "Shared Cost" exchange service within the UK. You cover the cost of returning the item to us, and we will pay the shipping cost to send the new exchange item back out to you.
International Orders
We are currently unable to offer an exchange service for orders outside of the UK. International customers should return their unwanted items for a refund and place a new order for the alternative size/item.
