Issued to NATO forces during the late Cold War, the Belgian Army M88 field jacket was introduced in 1988 as a streamlined replacement for the M64. It served as the primary combat layer for the infantry until 1999. Unlike modern camo, this clean olive green shell offers a classic style that blends naturally into both woodland and everyday urban environments.

This jacket is made from thick, hard-wearing 100% cotton canvas that resists wind and abrasions. To block out drafts, it features a heavy-duty metal zip secured by a robust, button-fastened wind flap. The underarm ventilation holes prevent overheating during strenuous tasks, making it a reliable choice for demanding bushcraft and outdoor work.

Practical Utility and Storage
