This is an original British RAF General Purpose Jacket in used Grade 1 condition.

Royal Air Force Heritage

Originally issued to Royal Air Force ground crews and personnel, this Jacket, Man's General Purpose, RAF was designed for daily duties. It served as a robust, clean-cut layer during the late Cold War era. Built to meet strict military standards, it offers a smart blouson silhouette that easily transitions from functional duty to modern everyday casual wear.

Hardwearing Technical Design

The outer shell is made from a tough 55% polyester and 45% wool blend, offering natural temperature regulation and wind resistance. It features a full-length metal front zip, two welted handwarmer pockets, and shoulder epaulettes for rank slides. The elasticated cuffs and waistband help lock in body heat and block cold drafts during active outdoor tasks.

All-Weather Adaptability

This jacket includes a removable quilted sleeveless thermal liner (gilet style) that attaches securely inside with hook-and-loop panels. You can quickly add or remove this extra layer to suit changing seasons. It carries the NATO Stock Number 8405-99-225-9380, proving its genuine military pedigree and reliable insulation for cold-weather bushcraft or camping.

We offer a "Shared Cost" exchange service within the UK. You cover the cost of returning the item to us, and we will pay the shipping cost to send the new exchange item back out to you.
