German Army Winter Cap
Good used condition. Fully functional and field-ready, with light wear and typical service markings.
Genuine Issue Surplus
KEY FEATURES
This genuine German Army Winter Cap provides reliable cold-weather protection.
Bundeswehr Field Heritage
Originally issued to the West German Bundeswehr, this cold-war era field cap is supplied in Grade 1 condition, showing only light signs of service. Constructed with a heavy-duty 100% cotton canvas outer shell, the fabric provides natural windproofing and rugged durability, making it a reliable choice for bushcraft, winter hunting, or functional daily wear.
Cold-Weather Insulation
The interior is engineered for optimal thermal efficiency, featuring a dense 70% wool and 30% acrylic blend lining that retains body heat even in high-moisture conditions. The ear flaps and neck drape are lined with a soft, insulating cotton-acrylic woven pile faux fur, which provides immediate warmth and buffers cold gusts during prolonged outdoor hunts or winter campouts.
Modular Protection
For adaptable field use, the fold-down ear flaps wrap securely under the chin using a flat hook-and-loop fastening strap, ensuring complete cheek and neck coverage. The low-profile seams are specifically tailored to fit comfortably under a combat helmet, while the stiffened front visor shields your eyes from low winter sun and sleet without restricting your field of view.
Equip yourself with this genuine German field cap to tackle your next cold-weather expedition in comfort.
This item was used by the German Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
