Full Description
Own a piece of Cold War history with this authentic Russian GP-5 Gas Mask, complete with its original olive green canvas carrying bag. Developed for Soviet civilians, these masks were widely issued from the early 1960s to 1990, offering a standard level of protection against potential nuclear, biological, and chemical threats during a period of high geopolitical tension.
This GP-5 mask is made from durable grey rubber. It features a full-face design with clear, circular glass eyepieces. The mask has a threaded inlet at the front for filter attachment, and comes supplied in its original canvas carrying bag, featuring a shoulder strap for easy transport and storage. These are unused surplus items, offering a unique collectible. Due to the age of the rubber, a white powdery residue may be present, which can be easily cleaned off. This mask is sold for collection or re-enactment purposes only and is not recommended for actual use. Filters are not included.
