Developed for deployments in hot climates like Belize and Cyprus, it replaced older desert DPM gear. Sun Defence and Ripstop Fabric
The hat is made from a tough 67% polyester and 33% cotton ripstop weave that resists briar snags without adding bulk. Its wide 7cm reinforced brim holds shape in windy conditions to shade eyes and ears. A detachable hook-and-loop neck flap shields your nape against intense solar exposure during open treks, and stows cleanly away when unfastened.
Field Ventilation and Practical Utility
