Official Issue and Camouflage
Issued under the UK Personal Clothing System, this hat replaced older woodland DPM kit. Labelled Hat, Combat, Tropical, MTP, it uses British Multi-Terrain Pattern camouflage. The pattern blends sandy tans with green tones to disrupt your outline across forest and open ground, making it ideal for bushcraft, tactical drills, and field scouting.
Ripstop Fabric and Stiffened Brim
The hat is made from a 67% polyester and 33% cotton ripstop weave that stops briars and thorny brush from tearing the cloth. A 7cm wide brim features rows of circular stitching. This keeps the brim from sagging down into your eyes when soaked with sweat or rain, giving you reliable shade right across the midday heat.
Ventilation and Field Utility
Four screened brass vents let rising heat escape from the crown while keeping midges and mosquitoes out. An internal hook-and-loop strip lets you fit an issue neck flap, while side loops hold a chin cord. Around the crown, heavy-duty foliage loops let you slip in grass, ferns, or burlap to break your silhouette on the move.

Supplied in Grade 1 condition, these hats are genuine British military stock showing light service use with full strength intact. Built to strict Ministry of Defence specifications, they outperform thin commercial sun hats on long hiking trails, fishing banks, and campsite work.
