Genuine Issue Surplus
KEY FEATURES
This original US 43rd Infantry Division patch is a genuine military shoulder sleeve insignia.
Historical Division Insignia
Established in 1925 as a National Guard unit from New England, the 43rd Infantry Division served with distinction across the Pacific Theater during World War II. Nicknamed the Winged Victory Division, its soldiers wore this shoulder sleeve insignia through major island campaigns including New Guinea and Luzon.
Symbolic Patch Design
The emblem features a black grape leaf embroidered on a red quatrefoil background. The four lobes represent the division's founding home states of Connecticut, Maine, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Measuring approximately 6cm by 6cm, the distinctive grape leaf references the historical Norse name Vinland for the New England region.
Collector and Reenactor Utility
Made with full thread stitching and a sturdy border, this cloth patch is designed for direct sew-on attachment. It is an ideal addition for military uniform collectors, historical reenactors restoring period tunics, or framing as part of a WWII insignia display.
Add this original 43rd Infantry Division shoulder patch to your military collection today.
