Dutch Army 60L Rucksack
Good used condition. Fully functional and field-ready, with light wear and typical service markings.
Genuine Issue Surplus
KEY FEATURES
This is a genuine Dutch Army 60L Rucksack in classic DPM woodland camo, supplied without side pouches.
Dutch Military Engineering
Originally designed to meet the rigorous demands of the Royal Netherlands Army (Koninklijke Landmacht), this robust tactical load-carrier is manufactured under license from Lowe Alpine's legendary Sting model. Built using military-grade 1000D Cordura nylon, it provides exceptional water resistance and abrasive defense, shielding your gear during wet woodland hikes or dense bushcraft treks.
Ergonomic Suspension System
To manage heavy military loads, this pack features an internal aluminum frame that transfers weight directly to your hips. The fully padded lumbar support, adjustable shoulder straps, and a thick hip belt work in unison to reduce skeletal fatigue. This makes it a highly supportive option for long-distance trail walking, backpacking, or extended wilderness survival.
Versatile Storage and Attachment
The generous 60-litre main compartment secures with a protective snow collar and dual drawstring closures under the top lid. Side zippers remain fully functional, allowing you to attach standard PLCE side pouches if sourced later. Front MOLLE webbing loops and rugged canvas hooks offer immediate external lash points for bedrolls, tents, or modular tactical pouches.
Equip yourself with this genuine Dutch military workhorse for your next multi-day outdoor expedition.
This item was used by the Dutch Army during the Post‑Cold War (1991–2000) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.

Grade 1 represents solid, fully functional military surplus that has been deployed or issued but remains in great usable condition with plenty of life left.
- Functionality: 100% field-ready. All main zippers, press studs, drawstrings, and buckles work as intended with no critical faults.
- Fabric & Wear: Structurally sound with light cosmetic wear, minor abrasion, or subtle fading from normal military use and laundering.
- Markings & Personalisation: May feature soldier names, unit numbers, service markings, or light depot stamps written on tags or fabric.
- Repairs: May include neat, professional military-standard stitches or minor reinforcement patches that do not compromise gear integrity.
- Storage & Cleanliness: Gear is serviceable straight out of the box, though a standard initial wash or airing is recommended to clear typical military surplus storage scent and minor handling dust.
This four-color temperate brushstroke pattern is a derivative of British DPM, featuring black, chocolate brown, and olive green disruptive shapes on a yellowish-tan background, often noted for its slightly muted appearance. Adopted in 1993 as part of the M-93 uniform for the Royal Netherlands Army, it was optimized for concealment within the dense forests and fields of northwest European terrain.
