Frontline British Military Heritage
The British Ministry of Defence introduced the General Service Respirator (GSR) around 2010 to replace the older S10 system. Stamped inside as FIELD PACK with NATO stock number 8465-99-434-6734, this haversack saw frontline service worldwide. Most Grade 1 surplus bags still carry original soldier markings on the webbing, reflecting genuine military use.
Hardwearing Weatherproof Construction
Built from tough 1000D texturised nylon Cordura in British Multi-Terrain Pattern (MTP), this pack resists heavy abrasion and wet weather. The treated fabric features IRR coating to reduce night-vision detection. Inside, smooth padded lining protects sensitive kit from knocks, while blackened metal press-studs and heavy-duty hook-and-loop strips seal out mud.
Expandable Storage and Modular Pouches
Twin front zips open to expand the main compartment for bulkier field kit. Two removable side utility pouches provide separate storage for small essentials, torches, or pens. Detach them easily from the side MOLLE webbing to trim down your bag, or mount them onto compatible tactical vests, assault rucksacks, or battle belts.
Versatile Field Carriage
An adjustable shoulder strap with an ITW quick-release buckle offers comfortable cross-body carry, while a lower leg strap stops annoying bouncing on the move. Rear MOLLE attachment straps and heavy-duty D-rings fix cleanly to belts or load-bearing rigs. It works brilliantly as an everyday grab bag for bushcraft tools, camera kit, and rations.

This item was used by the British Army during the Modern (2000–Present) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
