Combat Heritage & Profile
First introduced in 1941 to replace the shallow M1917, the US M1 steel helmet served American armed forces through World War II and the Vietnam War. Designed to give soldiers better side and neck protection, this classic two-piece design became standard issue across all combat theatres. This accurate reproduction captures the rounded dome shape and flat olive drab finish.
Adjustable Inner Suspension
The helmet uses an adjustable plastic liner that fits neatly inside the outer shell. Based on historical suspension systems, it features internal webbing that cushions the head and provides comfortable airflow during long wear. The internal headband adjusts between 52cm and 63cm, allowing you to quickly set the depth and circumference to suit your head.
Field Utility & Rigging
Fitted with adjustable webbing chinstraps, the helmet stays firmly in place during active movement. The outer shell accommodates standard helmet nets and foliage bands, making it ideal for historical reenactment, living history events, film productions, or display collections. Note that this reproduction is intended for display and costume use, not ballistic safety.

This item was issued to the US Army during the WWII (1939–1945) and remains in Supergrade condition. It is unissued original surplus, but may have minor dust or storage marks from warehouse storage. We recommend giving it a wash or airing it out before wearing.
