Swedish Military Spec
Originally issued as part of the Swedish Armed Forces cold-weather uniform, this scarf was built to survive extreme Scandinavian winters. The genuine Swedish military surplus pedigree means it was manufactured to strict defense standards, making it far tougher than civilian neckwear. It was designed to keep conscripts warm during long field exercises near the Arctic Circle.
Double-Layer Insulation
The scarf features an intelligent double-layer tubular knit. Instead of a single piece of fabric, it is knitted as a continuous tube and pressed flat, creating a pocket of dead air between the layers. This design traps body heat and blocks wind without adding bulk, allowing it to sit flat under a jacket collar without bunching up or restricting your neck movement.
Pure Wool Performance
Made from 100% natural wool, it retains its insulating properties even when damp from snow or sweat. The tight knit resists stretching and won't lose its shape after heavy wear. At approximately 110cm by 17cm, its compact dimensions prevent loose ends from flapping in the wind or catching on low branches while hiking, making it ideal for bushcraft or hunting.

This item was used by the Swedish Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
