This is a genuine German Army Esbit pocket stove, issued for field cooking and heating rations.
Two-Position Cooking Stand
The folding side walls open into two locked positions to suit different cookware. Keep them upright at ninety degrees for standard army mess tins and small pots, or angle them inwards at forty-five degrees to hold narrow mugs and canteen cups securely over the flame.
Galvanised Steel Construction
Made from pressed, electrolytically galvanised steel, this stove resists heavy field abuse and high heat without warping. These used surplus burners show honest service wear, including soot marks and surface patina, proving their authentic military background while remaining fully operational.
Compact Solid Fuel Design
Designed around clean-burning hexamine fuel tablets, the stove needs no pumps, hoses, or pressurised gas canisters. It folds down completely flat to fit in a pocket, with enough internal space to store your solid fuel blocks inside the closed unit during transport.

This item was used by the German Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
