Cold War Alpine Heritage
Originally issued to the Austrian Army under the designation Großer Rucksack KAZ 75, this pack was designed in 1975 for alpine infantry marching through steep peaks. Every bag is marked Heereseigentum to show its genuine issue status. It is a rugged piece of Cold War kit built to handle heavy gear on long marches over harsh trails.
Heavy-Duty Polyamide Build
It is made from a dense, water-resistant olive drab polyamide nylon that holds up far better than standard civilian daypacks. Inside the main compartment, you get a rubberised waterproof base layer that stops dampness from seeping in when you set your pack on wet grass. The closures use tough steel slide buckles that will not crack in freezing winter weather.
Smart Combat Storage
You get a spacious 55-litre main compartment with a double drawstring closure to compress your kit. The two large side pockets and front pocket add extra room, and they all have bottom metal drain holes so water never pools inside. The padded green webbing shoulder straps use quick-release steel spring clips so you can swap or remove them in seconds.

This item was used by the Austrian Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
