This Canadian pilot watch recreates the classic look of the 1940s airforce timepiece.

WWII Airforce Heritage

Originally issued to the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) in 1942, this pilot watch is based on the famous Waltham Ref. 6B/150 navigation watch. In the high-stress environments of wartime cockpits, pilots relied on clear, white-dial timepieces to calculate navigation coordinates rapidly, making legibility a matter of life or death.

Clean, High-Contrast Dial

This reissue features a high-contrast white face with distinct gold-tone Arabic numerals and the classic RCAF winged crest printed below the twelve o'clock position. The bold black hour and minute hands have gilt-coloured inserts, paired with a slim sweep second hand. A compact 33mm alloy case protects the dial, mirroring the smaller, historic wartime sizing.

Modern Utility and Fit

For reliable daily wear, the watch houses a Japanese quartz movement, complete with an installed battery. A brown woven canvas strap offers a durable, secure fit that withstands outdoor wear. Please note: the hands may sway freely during transport in the presentation box; this secures instantly once you push the crown wheel fully in to activate the battery.
