Excellent, near-new condition. May be unissued or show only the slightest signs of long-term storage.
Genuine Issue Surplus
KEY FEATURES
This original US Army Parachute Strap with D-Ring is genuine military surplus in Supergrade condition.
Military Cargo Heritage
Issued under NSN 1670-360-0540, this 15ft (4.5m) cotton webbing strap was originally used by the US Army for aerial delivery and cargo tie-downs. Produced during the Vietnam era, it features heavy-duty woven cotton with red edge tracer threads and military stencil markings. It provides reliable tensioning without stretching under load.
Heavy-Duty Hardware
Each strap is fitted with a darkened steel double-bar D-ring secured by multi-row box stitching. The slotted D-ring functions as a friction buckle, allowing quick adjustment and solid locking under heavy tension. The natural cotton weave grips tightly against friction surfaces, preventing slipping during transport or field setup.
Field & Utility Uses
This versatile webbing strap is ideal for bushcraft, camping, vehicle load securing, and gear rigging. The 4.5-metre length can be cut down for custom straps, K9 harnesses, or rigger belts, or used full-length to tie down tarps, bedrolls, and equipment. Unissued Supergrade stock ensures maximum strength for practical field use.
Secure your original US military cargo strap for your next outdoor project or vehicle load.
This item was issued to the US Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and remains in Supergrade condition. It is unissued original surplus, but may have minor dust or storage marks from warehouse storage. We recommend giving it a wash or airing it out before wearing.

- Origin: Typically unissued reserve stock, trial gear, or kit issued but never actively deployed.
- Fabric & Materials: Crisp, fully intact, and structurally perfect with original color vibrancy and no fading.
- Hardware & Fastenings: Zips, press studs, hook-and-loop closures, and buckles operate like new with no functional wear.
- Markings & Repairs: No holes, tears, repairs, or personalized user markings. Factory issue labels and faint depot storage stamps may be present.
- Storage & Scent: May show minor creasing or light dust from transit. Like most authentic military surplus held in long-term dry storage, items may carry a faint warehouse scent that clears easily with a quick first wash or air-out.
