US 9th Army Patch
Good used condition. Fully functional and field-ready, with light wear and typical service markings.
Genuine Issue Surplus
KEY FEATURES
This original US 9th Army patch is a genuine military surplus shoulder sleeve insignia.
European Theatre Lineage
Activated in 1944, the Ninth Army commanded Allied forces across France and Germany during World War Two. The unit spearheaded the advance across the Elbe River before its initial deactivation in 1945. Later reactivated in 2012 to support United States Army Africa operations, this original military surplus patch represents an impressive history of service in Western Europe.
Heraldic Nonagon Symbolism
The insignia features a distinctive nine-sided nonagon shape that represents the numerical designation of the 9th Army. Traditional army red and white colours form the embroidered field and central symbol. A bold letter A sits inside the border, providing an immediate, high-visibility visual identifier for military collectors and historical uniform displays.
Embroidered Cotton Construction
Measuring approximately 6cm by 6cm, the badge is built on a durable cotton canvas backing with tight thread stitching. It is designed for easy sewing onto uniform sleeves, jackets, or display boards. The compact design allows it to sit cleanly alongside other rank badges and divisional patches without crowding your setup.
Add this genuine Ninth Army shoulder patch to your military insignia collection or WWII uniform build.
This item was used by the US Army during the WWII (1939–1945) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
