This is an original Finnish Army M62 reversible jacket in Grade 1 condition.
Two Camouflage Patterns in One
Issued to Finnish Defence Forces from 1962, the Maastopuku m/62 solved northern weather shifts. One side features the famous three-colour kurkkusalaatti (cucumber salad) pattern for pine forests. The reverse is clean off-white for snow camouflage. You flip the jacket inside out to adapt to changing seasons without carrying extra kit.
Pure Cotton Drill Build
Made from unlined 100% cotton drill, the fabric has a dense weave that stops chilly winds while letting sweat escape during heavy movement. The tough cotton resists snags and campfire sparks far better than modern synthetics. Genuine Valtion Pukutehdas (VPU) acceptance stamps and period maker marks are visible on the cloth.
Practical Field Design
Cut loose to wear over thick woollen jumpers, this jacket gives you full range of motion. It features a sturdy button front, a fold-down collar, and utility pockets on both the camo and winter sides. Webbing equipment loops at the waist help anchor load belts or gear, making it a rugged choice for bushcraft, hiking, or vintage streetwear.

This item was used by the Other Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
