KEY FEATURES
This original French Army F2 Desert Camo Jacket is a lightweight, rugged layer in Daguet desert camouflage.
Gulf War Heritage
This jacket features the iconic Daguet desert camouflage, first introduced by French forces during the 1990 Gulf War. Engineered specifically for arid zones, the three-colour pattern blends light green and brown shapes on a sand base. It offers effective concealment in dry climates, making it highly valued by collectors and outdoor enthusiasts who appreciate original combat gear.
Practical Field Features
Built for active duty, the design includes vertical chest pockets with rugged zippers. This vertical layout allows quick access to gear even while wearing a chest rig or heavy rucksack. The front closure utilizes concealed buttons to prevent the front from catching on low branches or wire, ensuring maximum durability when moving through thick brush or dense woodland.
Hot-Climate Performance
Made from a breathable cotton-polyester satin blend, this lightweight layer keeps you cool under the sun. It features an elasticated hem for a snug, draft-free fit and adjustable cuffs with press studs. Our Grade 1 surplus items show light service use and may have professional repairs, ensuring you receive a solid, field-ready garment with genuine military character.
Add this rugged piece of French military surplus to your outdoor kit.
This item was used by the French Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
