French Combat History
Introduced in the early 1990s as the Veste de Combat F2, this jacket replaced older F1 models for the French Army. Its Camouflage Central Europe (CCE) pattern was designed around the summer foliage of the Fontainebleau forest. The thick green and brown bands provide excellent concealment in dense woodland, making this a reliable layer for bushcraft and hiking.
Technical Field Features
This jacket is made from a heavy satin-weave cotton-polyester blend that blocks the wind while resisting tears from brambles. It has two vertical zipped chest pockets, placed specifically for easy access while wearing webbing or backpack straps. The front has a concealed button placket to prevent snagging on branches, and the cuffs adjust with heavy-duty snap domes.

This item was used by the French Army during the Post‑Cold War (1991–2000) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
