KEY FEATURES
This genuine German Flecktarn camo shirt is an original military surplus field jacket issued to the Bundeswehr.
Bundeswehr Heritage & Camouflage
Introduced in 1990 to replace the old olive moleskin uniform, this original surplus Bundeswehr Feldbluse features the classic five-colour Flecktarn pattern (5-Farb Tarndruck). It was designed specifically for European forests, using disruptive dots that scramble your outline in the woods. It is a fantastic choice for collectors and outdoor enthusiasts who want genuine military history.
Rugged Military-Grade Construction
Built to tough military specs, this field shirt is made from a heavy-duty yet breathable 65% cotton and 35% polyester twill. That robust weave is perfect for outdoor work because it resists scrapes and tears when you are in the brush. You also get a heavy front zip with a press-stud storm flap to keep the wind out when you are active.
Functional Field Features
For utility, it has got two chest pockets and a small sleeve pocket, all using heavy-duty snap fasteners to keep your gear from falling out. The adjustable cuffs let you block drafts, and the original German flag insignia on the shoulders adds that classic military surplus look. It is a highly practical layer for hiking, camping, or daily wear.
Equip yourself with a piece of genuine German engineering for your next outdoor expedition or work day.
This item was used by the German Army during the Post‑Cold War (1991–2000) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.

Grade 1 represents solid, fully functional military surplus that has been deployed or issued but remains in great usable condition with plenty of life left.
- Functionality: 100% field-ready. All main zippers, press studs, drawstrings, and buckles work as intended with no critical faults.
- Fabric & Wear: Structurally sound with light cosmetic wear, minor abrasion, or subtle fading from normal military use and laundering.
- Markings & Personalisation: May feature soldier names, unit numbers, service markings, or light depot stamps written on tags or fabric.
- Repairs: May include neat, professional military-standard stitches or minor reinforcement patches that do not compromise gear integrity.
- Storage & Cleanliness: Gear is serviceable straight out of the box, though a standard initial wash or airing is recommended to clear typical military surplus storage scent and minor handling dust.
Flecktarn is a five-color disruptive dot pattern combining black, reddish-brown, dark green, light olive green, and light green speckled spots. Developed for European temperate woodlands, its unique blend of irregular spots effectively breaks up the wearer's silhouette, replacing earlier solid olive-green uniforms after extensive 1976 trials.
