US 10th Army Patch
Good used condition. Fully functional and field-ready, with light wear and typical service markings.
Genuine Issue Surplus
KEY FEATURES
This original US 10th Army patch is genuine WWII military surplus from the Pacific Theatre.
Pacific Theatre History
The Tenth United States Army was activated in 1944 and served as the primary ground command during the Battle of Okinawa in 1945. It was the final field army established in the Pacific Theatre during World War Two, coordinating both Army and Marine Corps forces. This shoulder sleeve insignia represented soldiers serving under this joint command during Operation Iceberg.
Design and Specifications
This patch features a red and white geometric design depicting a Roman numeral X, symbolizing the 10th Army. Measuring roughly 6cm by 5cm, it is made using embroidered cotton threads on a heavy backing with a traditional cut-edge finish. The raw edge reflects authentic period manufacturing techniques used on World War Two period unit badges.
Reenactment and Collection Use
Original military surplus patches are ideal for militaria collectors, historical displays, or period reenactment uniforms. The compact size makes it simple to sew onto a tunic sleeve or attach to a collector display board. Because these are original surplus items, minor variations in tone or stitch weave may occur across individual pieces.
