First adopted in October 1918, this shoulder sleeve insignia represents the US Army 7th Infantry Division, nicknamed the "Hourglass Division". Formed by two inverted figure sevens, the central symbol gained fame during heavy Pacific combat in WWII across the Aleutian Islands, Leyte, and Okinawa. This original surplus patch connects directly to a century of active military service.

Measuring approximately 6cm in diameter, this circular badge features a bold red background with a central black hourglass emblem. Made with dense embroidery and framed by a black stitched border, the patch is built to handle wear on uniform sleeves or jackets.
