Three-Way Modular Wear
This combat coat adapts quickly to shifting mountain weather with a three-way modular system. You can button the quilted thermal liner inside for deep winter frost, unbutton it to run the windproof cotton shell alone in spring, or zip off the liner sleeves to wear the padded body as a standalone utility gilet around camp.
Cold War Service History
Officially designated as the Modello Roma 75, this coat entered service with the Italian Army in the 1970s to replace the M1955 uniform. Known to Italian troops as "La Verdona", it features the traditional five-pointed star collar patches (Stellette Militari) and is supplied in unissued Supergrade condition.
Rugged Gabardine and Storage
The outer shell is woven from dense 100% cotton gabardine, shielding you from biting winds and forest snagging. A buttoned storm flap seals out cold draughts, internal waist drawstrings trap core body heat, and two deep bellows pockets pair with internal zipped chest pockets for secure kit storage.
