KEY FEATURES
The Greek Airforce Blue Lizard Camo Combat Jacket is a genuine military surplus field garment.
Military History
Issued to Hellenic Air Force personnel during the 1990s, this jacket features the distinctive blue lizard camouflage pattern. Derived from classic French brushstroke designs, this blue variant served ground crews and airfield defence forces. It offers a rare military aesthetic that stands out from standard green surplus.
Fabric and Pocket Construction
Made from a dense 80% cotton and 20% polyester blend, the fabric withstands hard daily wear while remaining breathable. The jacket includes four large front cargo pockets with covered button flaps to keep items secure. Double-stitched seams and reinforced elbow patches prevent tear points during tactical or outdoor work.
Practical Field Details
A full button-front closure is covered by a protective storm flap to keep out wind and dirt. Adjustable hook-and-loop cuffs let you seal the sleeves over gloves. A chest-mounted hook-and-loop patch panel allows quick attachment of unit badges, making it versatile for airsoft, workwear, or everyday street style.

Supergrade is our highest condition rating for genuine military surplus. Items in this category are in near-new, top-tier condition and have seen little to no field use.
- Origin: Typically unissued reserve stock, trial gear, or kit issued but never actively deployed.
- Fabric & Materials: Crisp, fully intact, and structurally perfect with original color vibrancy and no fading.
- Hardware & Fastenings: Zips, press studs, hook-and-loop closures, and buckles operate like new with no functional wear.
- Markings & Repairs: No holes, tears, repairs, or personalized user markings. Factory issue labels and faint depot storage stamps may be present.
- Storage & Scent: May show minor creasing or light dust from transit. Like most authentic military surplus held in long-term dry storage, items may carry a faint warehouse scent that clears easily with a quick first wash or air-out.
This variant of the classic high-contrast brushstroke pattern features dense horizontal streaks of dark grey and orange-brown on a medium blue background. It was designed exclusively for the Hellenic Air Force to provide aesthetic distinction for airbase ground crews and airfield defense personnel.
