Introduced in 2004 to replace older field uniforms, the Army Combat Uniform (ACU) coat was designed for modern combat environments. Its pixelated Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP) combines grey, tan, and foliage green tones. This digital layout disrupts human outlines across varied terrain, providing practical utility for field use, outdoor survival, and tactical activities.
Rugged Fabric Construction
Built from a heavy-duty 50/50 Nylon Cotton Ripstop (NYCO) blend, this jacket resists tears and surface wear in harsh environments. The breathable weave prevents overheating during physical work while offering wind resistance. Integrated elbow pad pockets accept internal padding for added protection during prone shooting or heavy ground work.
Functional Tactical Layout
The front features a full-length zip with a hook-and-loop storm flap and a protective mandarin collar to keep dirt out. Slanted chest and upper sleeve pockets provide easy access while wearing chest rigs or rucksacks. A bi-swing back pleat ensures full upper-body mobility, and lower sleeve pen slots add everyday convenience.

This item was used by the US Army during the Modern (2000–Present) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
