These sew-on rank stripes represent the insignia worn by Non-Commissioned Officers in the British Army. The two-bar chevron denotes the rank of Corporal, a leader who commanded a small section of soldiers. Traditional Construction
Each patch is made with off-white cotton embroidery on a coarse khaki-brown wool backing. This design matches the textured look of wartime service dress and battledress tunics. Sewing and Care
