These are genuine British Army lightweight trousers, the classic general service fatigue pants in olive green.
Cold War Heritage
These trousers were introduced in the early 1970s as the standard general service wear for UK forces. They became a staple during conflicts like the Falklands War. Troops in Airborne and Royal Marine units often preferred them because they perform well in harsh conditions. They replaced heavier cotton overalls to provide a lighter, more functional utility pant.

The trousers are made from a tough 60% polyester and 40% cotton blend. This specific fabric mix makes them highly durable and resistant to daily wear. Field-Ready Details
You get classic button-down belt loops designed to fit wide webbing or stable belts. This item was used by the British Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
