KEY FEATURES
These original Belgian Army waterproof Goretex trousers keep you dry in wet weather.
Military-Grade Weatherproofing
These wet-weather over-trousers are manufactured by Seyntex, the official defence contractor for the Belgian military. They feature a high-performance three-layer laminate fabric with a moisture vapour permeable (MVP) membrane. This design acts like Gore-Tex, offering complete wind and waterproof protection while letting sweat escape during high-energy field activities.
Functional Field Design
Designed for rapid deployment, these trousers include integrated elastic braces with quick-release polymer buckles to hold them secure. The high-waisted cut prevents rain entry at the waist, while zipped side access slots allow you to reach your inner trouser pockets easily. Side hook-and-loop tabs let you adjust the fit over multiple cold-weather layers.
Classic Jigsaw Camouflage
This gear features the distinctive Belgian jigsaw camouflage pattern, which was originally developed in 1956 for elite para-commandos. It provides excellent concealment in temperate woodlands. Today, these lightly used, very-good condition Grade 1 surplus trousers are perfect for bushcraft, fishing, or wet outdoor work, offering far better durability than standard civilian rainwear.
Equip yourself with these genuine Belgian overtrousers and keep working through the worst wet weather.
This item was used by the Belgian Army during the Post‑Cold War (1991–2000) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.

Grade 1 represents solid, fully functional military surplus that has been deployed or issued but remains in great usable condition with plenty of life left.
- Functionality: 100% field-ready. All main zippers, press studs, drawstrings, and buckles work as intended with no critical faults.
- Fabric & Wear: Structurally sound with light cosmetic wear, minor abrasion, or subtle fading from normal military use and laundering.
- Markings & Personalisation: May feature soldier names, unit numbers, service markings, or light depot stamps written on tags or fabric.
- Repairs: May include neat, professional military-standard stitches or minor reinforcement patches that do not compromise gear integrity.
- Storage & Cleanliness: Gear is serviceable straight out of the box, though a standard initial wash or airing is recommended to clear typical military surplus storage scent and minor handling dust.
The pattern features interlocking puzzle-like shapes combining bold organic forms of rusty red, khaki, dark green, and black, often with subtle lighter edgings. Designed to create extreme disruptive visual confusion at medium ranges in mixed European foliage, it was initially issued to elite forces.
