Military Heritage & Origin
Issued to the Belgian Armed Forces (ABL) during the late Cold War era between 1980 and 2000, this genuine canteen replaced older, heavier aluminium designs. It served general service infantry units as standard field hydration equipment. The bottle is moulded from impact-resistant, olive drab plastic, ensuring it stands up to harsh field conditions without cracking or splitting.
Insulated Pouch & Cover
The set includes a heavy-duty, water-resistant vinyl cover in matching olive green. This pouch features a thick fleece-insulated lining designed to protect the bottle and keep your water cool in summer or prevent freezing in winter. Securing with two brass-plated press studs, it keeps the canteen safe, while the rear features sturdy webbing loops compatible with the ALICE system.

This item was used by the Belgian Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
