KEY FEATURES
The original French Military School Jumper in green is authentic French military academy athletic wear.
Military Academy Heritage
Issued to cadets at the Lycée Militaire d'Autun in Burgundy, this crewneck sweater was worn during athletic training and physical preparation. Established in 1675 as a seminary before becoming a famed French Army secondary school, the institution equips its students with high-grade physical training apparel built to withstand frequent daily wear and physical training.
Athletic Build and Fabric
Constructed from a durable cotton and polyester blend, the fabric combines natural breathability with synthetic strength and shape retention. The interior features a soft brushed fleece lining for insulation during cold morning drills, while raglan sleeves allow full range of motion across the shoulders without tight seams binding during movement.
Practical Everyday Utility
The back of the jumper features the bold white Lycée Militaire Autun crest print, depicting the iconic lion and sword heraldry of the academy. Finished with heavy-duty ribbed collar, cuffs, and hem to retain heat, this Grade 1 surplus sweater makes a reliable outer layer for casual wear, camping, or mid-layer insulation in colder weather.
Add genuine French military training gear to your everyday wardrobe.
This item was used by the French Army during the Post‑Cold War (1991–2000) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
