Nordic Field Engineering
Issued to Swedish forces during the Cold War, the Fältjacka m/59 is built from high-density olive green cotton twill. This tightly woven fabric blocks cold winds while staying breathable during heavy work. Reinforced shoulder panels and double-stitched seams ensure it holds up through tough bushcraft, outdoor labour, and daily wear without tearing.
Practical Storage & Hardware
This field coat features two deep front waist pockets and two spacious rear poacher pockets on the lower back. Stowing gear behind your hips keeps your front clear when bending or carrying a rucksack. Each pocket and the front flap close with original grey buttons embossed with the Swedish Tre Kronor (Three Crowns) national emblem.
Cold-Weather Protection
The convertible collar includes a neck tab that buttons high around the chin to seal out cold drafts. Inside, an original rump strap (beavertail) fastens between the legs to stop the jacket from riding up in high winds. These genuine military surplus coats are supplied in Grade 1 condition, showing authentic vintage military character with full functionality.

This item was used by the Swedish Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
