Good used condition. Fully functional and field-ready, with light wear and typical service markings.
Genuine Issue Surplus
KEY FEATURES
An original East German white police shirt, issued for warm-weather Volkspolizei service duties.
Authentic Volkspolizei Service Design
Issued across East Germany during the Cold War, this official Volkspolizei short-sleeve shirt served officers on summer patrols. Sourced in Supergrade unissued condition, it delivers authentic DDR service styling with a structured spread collar, full seven-button front placket, and dedicated shoulder attachments configured for standard military police rank boards.
Breathable Cotton Utility
Made from a tightly woven lightweight cotton, the fabric allows natural airflow while withstanding rigorous daily wear. The cut features a straight flat hem designed to be worn untucked for superior warm-weather ventilation. Dual chest pockets with classic scalloped flaps and button closures provide secure storage for small essentials and daily equipment.
Versatile Everyday and Reenactment Wear
This rare East German piece transitions smoothly from Cold War living history impressions to functional modern fashion. The clean white finish and vintage utility tailoring pair naturally with utility trousers, denim, or workwear, offering dependable durability and stand-out mid-century character for collectors and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
Complete your vintage kit bag or Cold War uniform setup with this original unissued DDR police shirt.
