Czech BSS Sidepack
Good used condition. Fully functional and field-ready, with light wear and typical service markings.
Genuine Issue Surplus
KEY FEATURES
This Original Czech BSS Sidepack is a genuine military surplus canvas shoulder bag.
Cold War Military Origin
Issued to Czechoslovak People's Army troops, this bag carried protective respirators and chemical gear. Built from heavy olive cotton canvas, it offers exceptional tear resistance for field use. These packs come in Grade 1 condition, showing authentic military character while remaining fully functional for modern kit storage.
Internal Compartment Design
The interior features three main pocket dividers alongside a smaller pouch fitted with a metal snap fastener. Originally designed for anti-fog kit and spare filters, this layout keeps bushcraft tools, notebooks, and small items organised. The main compartment is secured by a large top flap with twin wooden peg toggles for reliable closure.
Field-Ready Carry Options
An integrated adjustable webbing strap allows comfortable cross-body or shoulder carry during outdoor trips. The soft cotton construction lets the pack lay flat against your side without bulk. It works well as a lightweight haversack for hiking, day trips, or everyday carry.

This item was used by the Czech Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
